Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Flanery presiding.   Interment will follow in the Seventh Day Baptist Church Cemetery.

Kenneth Eugene Scheuvront, 56, of Lost Creek, WV, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital following a battle with Stage 4 cancer.

 

He was born in Clarksburg, WV, on October 7, 1963 a son of the late Wilbert James and Betty Ann Putnam Scheuvront.

 

Kenneth is survived by his lifelong companion, Nancy Sue Greaver; two sons, Jeremy E. Scheuvront of Quiet Dell, James Erik Scheuvront and wife Ashley of Chub Run; one daughter, Mashayla Scheuvront of Lost Creek; six grandchildren, Hunter Scheuvront, Gary Scheuvront, Angel Starkey, Crystal Scheuvront, Levi Scheuvront, and Skylynn Scheuvront.  He is also survived by one brother, Gail Scheuvront and wife Lisa of Flemington; four sisters, Pauline Kish Scheuvront and husband Robert of Clarksburg, Patty Moyer of Grafton, Erma Rucker of Grafton and Ruth Frazier and husband Steve of Clarksburg; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dewayne Scheuvront and Roger Scheuvront and one sister, Shirley Pierce.

 

He worked for Sandy’s Hardware as a small engine repair technician.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping; but above all he was a family man.
