Kimberly Ann Prunty Cassella, 54, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on December 17, 2018. Kimberly was diagnosed with stage-4 ovarian cancer on December 29, 2015. She never gave up and fought a courageous battle until the end. Kimberly will be remembered most for her positive outlook and always thinking of others before herself.

She was born in Clarksburg, WV on February 20, 1964 the daughter of Arnold Prunty and Jackie Taylor Prunty of Anmoore, WV.

She was married on June 17, 1991 to her loving husband, Mark Cassella, who never left her side. He resides at their home in Clarksburg along with their beloved German Shepherd “Bella”.

Also surviving are three brothers, J.R. Prunty of California, Bob Prunty and wife Jennifer of Lumberport, WV and Mike Prunty of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews including Tyler and Hannah Stire and their daughter Miszoura and Mikayla Prunty and Corey Prunty; her cousin and sister by heart, Lisa (Kirtner) Fancher, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.
Kimberly graduated from Liberty High School and Fairmont State University with a degree in business. She was the business office manager for Oliverio Italian Style Peppers, Inc. for over 15 years.
Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Jeff Stire presiding. Interment will follow at the Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery.
