Family and friends may call at the Clarksburg Baptist Church, 501 W. Pike Street, Clarksburg on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The service will be held at the conclusion of the Visitation with Pastor Gary Hall presiding. Honoring Mr. Totten’s wishes, he will be cremated following the service.

Kyle Hugh Totten II, 67, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Charleston, WV, on July 26, 1955, a son of the late Kyle Hugh “Pop” and Charlotte Ann Blankenship Totten I.

Kyle is survived by his son, Kyle Totten III, and his wife Sarah of Lost Creek, his daughters, Shannon Wilfong and husband Travis of Fairmont, and Kelly Totten and her significant other, Chris Harris of Fayetteville, NC. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Alaina Thompson, Abigail Thompson, Teller Wilfong, Lochlan Wilfong, Braylen Harris, and Kayden Harris; his longtime friend and companion, Bonita Totten; and his dog, Queenie.

Kyle was a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School, Class of 1973, and a retired sales agent with Transamerica. He previously worked for Union National Bank, Mutual of Omaha, and DSG Standard Labs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. Kyle loved baseball, especially the Cincinnati Reds and was an avid motorcycle rider. His favorite place in the world was his farm in Calhoun County. He was active with Celebrate Recovery, was a devoted Christian and attended Clarksburg Baptist Church. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and will be sadly missed.
