Larry Dale “Whitey” Whitehair, 74, of Rosemont, WV passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at his residence.

Larry was born on August 24, 1947 in Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Roland and Blanche Riffle Whitehair.

He married his wife, Teresa Anne Ball, on August 4, 2008, who resides at their home in Rosemont.

Larry is also survived by his stepson, Shane Aaron Ball of Rosemont; one sister, Fonda Burton and husband James of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by one sister, Cora Spencer; and two infant brothers, Jerry Lee and Roland Whitehair Jr.

Whitey was a 1965 graduate of Flemington High School. He was a United State Marine Corps veteran having served during the Vietnam Era as a combat engineer.

Larry retired from Parkersburg Delivery Services as a Dock Supervisor. He also worked as a tour bus drive for Country Roads Tours, a school bus driver for Taylor County Schools, manager of the Clarksburg Towers, a coal miner, and owned his own heating and plumbing business. Larry enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, and playing baseball when he was younger.
