Laura Joan Davis Terango, 81, of Stonewood received viaticum, her final sacrament and began the journey to be with the Lord on January 12, 2019.

Joan is survived by her husband of 55 years James A. Terango, her son, James Kevin and Donna Terango of Stonewood, son Joseph Patrick and Traci Terango of Charlestown and son, Michael Anthony Terango of Prince William, Virginia. She was most proud of her five grandchildren and one great-grandchild: Matthew, wife Sarah and their daughter Emmalyn Childers; Haley, Anthony, Dante, and her partner in crime Tyler Terango.  She is also survived by her sisters Lois Jean Scott, Eleanor Casler, Sandra Davis, Terry Bullough, big brother Pat Davis, and several nieces and nephews.

Joan was proceeded in death by her parents Lorena Fahey Davis and Oscar Davis, brother Michael Putnam Davis, and a nephew, Steven Austin.

Joan retired from the State of West Virginia, where she was formerly employed by the Division of Highways and the State Liquor Commission.  Despite her work for the state, her primary vocation, throughout her time, was caring for her three sons, and she particularly loved attending sporting events at Norwood Park to watch her loved ones on the field.

A devout Catholic, she attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, and always could be caught singing her favorite tunes.

Joan left a lasting impact on everyone she met with her enduring spunk, style, and elegance.
