Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Christ Episcopal Church, 126 S. 6th Street, Clarksburg on Monday September 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Chris Scott presiding. A private family interment will take place at Bridgeport Cemetery.

Letitia Ann Ralston Kennedy
Ann Ralston Kennedy (“Tish”) peacefully departed this life September 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Ann was born in Clarksburg, WV on September 13, 1934, the daughter of the late Dr. James and Lavina Ralston.
Her beloved husband, Thomas Carlyle Kennedy, preceded her in death on August 1, 2013.
She is survived by her three children, Betsy Ann Kennedy of Morgantown, WV, Nancy Ralston Kennedy Soulsby (Dr. David Soulsby) of Jane Lew WV, and Thomas Carlyle Kennedy, II (Leatriona) of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Patrick B. Quinn (Alexa) of Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Ryan C. Quinn (Sarah Delaney) of Lewisburg, WV, Heather Ann Haney (Chad) of Morgantown, WV, Ralston Kennedy (fiancé Caroline Gallo) of Clarksburg, WV, Tanner Kennedy of Lakewood, CO and Gavin Kennedy (Kaleigha Hollins) of Morgantown, WV; two great grandchildren, Finley Haney and Emery Haney.
She was Valedictorian of the WI class of 1952 and attended Vassar College as a member of the class of 1956. She was employed by the Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company and later at the Empire Bank in Clarksburg as Marketing Director.
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church where she served on the Vestry and as member of the Alter Guild. She was a member of the Tuesday Club, a past president of the Clarksburg League for Service, Colonial Dames, and a member of the Clarksburg Country Club. She was an avid bridge player and a member of multiple bridge clubs throughout her lifetime.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s memory to the Sheltered Workshop of Harrison County or the Harrison County Humane Society.
