Lucille Marie Miller McCormick, 87, of Lost Creek passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at her residence.

She was born in Lost Creek on January 16, 1934, a daughter of the late Frank and Susan Farley Miller.
She was married to Russell McCormick, who preceded her in death on September 24, 2014 after 65 years of marriage.

Surviving are one son, Thomas “Tom” McCormick and his wife Jeannie of Lost Creek; two daughters, Rose Chamberlain and her husband Denny of Lost Creek and Cheryl McCormick of Lost Creek; three grandchildren, Thomas Z. McCormick and his wife Michelle, Emily McIntyre and her husband Robbie, and Denny Chamberlain, Jr. and his wife Abbie; two great grandchildren, Landon and Aurora McIntyre; two sisters-in-law, Mavis Riffle of Lost Creek and Tassie McCormick of Alaska; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her twin sons; and four sisters, Francis, Ora, Margaret and Ethel.

Lucille loved her family. She enjoyed cooking and working in the yard. She was a great mom, who loved taking car of her grandchildren and the elderly members of the family.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 am in the Rockford Cemetery with Pastor Gary Carr officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Clarksburg Mission, 312 N. 4th Street, Clarksburg WV 26301.
