Family and friends will be received at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held there on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Austin Lynch officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park where full military rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.

I grew up with the Allen family. Margie was a year ahead of me at RW. Butch and Sonny were younger than me. The family were active members of Nutter Fort Baptist Church. Margie is still a member. Walking home to Kentucky Avenue in the evening most often you would find the Allen family sitting on the front of the grandparents house, next door to theirs, discussing the day events. I always loved seeing and interacting with the family. Those were the days my friend we thought they would never end. GOD BLESS the whole Allen family. So sorry for your loss.
