Mary Ann King, 82 years of age, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on February 3,2024, surrounded by her loved ones, family, and her loving husband of 23 years, Samuel C. King, by her side.

Mary Ann, during her life, worked with the Harrison County Board of Education as a Handicap Bus Monitor. Mary Ann, upon retiring, had completed 25 years of service in a job that she loved and was blessed to work with individual children that she loved like her own.

Mary Ann was a loving, caring, strong, and faithful woman. Mary Ann’s greatest accomplishment was being the matriarch of a loving large family.

Mary Ann is the mother of Lisa Ann Menear (Bob) of Dilliner, PA and Roberta Lynn “Bert” Brooks of Martinsburg, WV.

Mary Ann had the privilege of being a stepmother to Samuel C. King Jr. (Patricia) of Salem, WV, Richard A. King (Amy) of Clarksburg, WV, and Joy Bland (Billy) of Marietta, OH.

Mary Ann was a loving and caring grandmother to Chris Menear, Kiersten Kniceley-King, Nick and Samantha Bland, David Kniceley (companion Danika), Courtney Swiger (Steven), Eric King, and Brian Menear (Erika).

Mary Ann was also blessed to be a great grandmother to Joel and Ella Menear, Landyn McDonald and Zayne Swiger.

Friends and Family will be received at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday, February 7^th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert King presiding.  Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
