In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Audia will be cremated.   There will be a gathering of family and friends at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm, where a memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm with Reverend Tim Sandy presiding.

Michael Anthony Audia, 60, of Sardis passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at his residence.

 

He was born in Charleston on November 16, 1958, a son of the late Samuel Joseph and Gloria Eleanor Carder Audia.

 

Surviving are one daughter, Cindy Audia of Sardis; three grandchildren, Damien Audia, Jayden Payne and Zendaya Payne; one brother, John Edward Audia of Sardis; two sisters, Paula Hardman of Sardis and Sandy Audia of Sardis; and several nieces and nephews.

 

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Joseph Audia, II.

 

Mr. Audia was a retired well tender with Petroleum Development Corporation. Mike enjoyed Hunting, fishing and barbequing, and was a collector of comic books and baseball cards. He was a fan of NASCAR racing and WWF and was Catholic by faith.

 

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Audia will be cremated.

 

There will be a gathering of family and friends at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm, where a memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm with Reverend Tim Sandy presiding.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Harrison County Humane Society, 2450 Saltwell Road, Shinnston, WV 26431.
