Obituaries

Pamela Kay Prince, 72, of Hepzibah passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

She was born in Clarksburg on October 10, 1951, a daughter of the late David Kern and Laura Belle Farnsworth Smith.

She was married to Gary Prince, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Gary Prince, Jr. and his girlfriend, Jenny Dotson of Hepzibah; one daughter, Penny Hyre and her husband Philip of Lumberport; six grandchildren, Travis Hyre and his wife Sheena of Lumberport, Jacob Hyre  and his fiancé, Rebecca Jorgensen of Shinnston, Heather Kisamore and her husband Andrew of Parsons, Austin Prince and his companion Deanna Roy of Hepzibah, Kaylee Hyre of Lumberport and David Hyre of Lumberport; four great grandchildren, Bryson Mihalko, Colton Hyre, Jace Kisamore and Kinsley Kisamore; and her sister, Karen Murphy and her husband Greg of Philippi.

She was also preceded in death by one great granddaughter, Avery Kisamore; and two sisters, Elaine Foust and Judy Huntermark.

Pam was a member of Duff Street United Methodist Church and the Lucinda Rose Auxiliary No. 573 VFW. She deeply loved and enjoyed caring for her family.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Prince will be cremated.
