Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Danny Fleming presiding.   Interment will follow in the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.

Patricia L. Johnson, 79, of Marshville Community, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at the United Hospital Center Hospice, following a brief illness.

 

She was born in Shinnston, WV, on June 2, 1938, a daughter of the late James Henry and Thelma Maloney McIntire.

 

She is survived by her husband, Buddy H. Johnson, whom she married on April 18, 1957.

 

Also surviving are one son, James William “Jim” Johnson and wife Ranee of Marshville; one daughter Judith A. “Judy” Wilson and husband Mike of Georgetown, KY; two grandchildren, Christopher Johnson and wife Amy, and Matthew Johnson and wife Jessica; three great-grandchildren, Allie Johnson, Cooper Johnson and Elliott Johnson.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant granddaughter, Danielle Johnson.

 

Patricia was a graduate of Lost Creek High School Class of 1956, and retired from Harrison County Board of Education as a cook with 21 years of service.

 

She was Christian by faith.  She was a member of the Marshville CEO’s and was honored in 2017 for 55 years of membership.
