Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 1:00 to 8:00 pm, where a prayer vigil will be held at 7:30 pm to conclude the visitation.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Casey Mahone as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Patrick Richard “Python” Greaver, 58, of Harpers Ferry, WV passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020.

 

He was born in Clarksburg on August 22, 1961, a son of the late Denver M. Greaver, who preceded him in death on November 7, 2013, and Veronica Corcoglioniti Greaver who survives in Clarksburg.

 

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife, Diane Davis Greaver, whom he married on August 1, 2015; one daughter, Constance “Connie” Greaver and her fiancé Mike Policht of Michigan; his sister, Angela Fittro and her husband Jonathan of Clarksburg; three nieces McKenzie and Izzy Fittro and special niece Hope Belano; Zach Sayre whom he thought of as a son; Scott Fontaine of Clarksburg whom he fondly referred to as his brother from a different mother; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

Mr. Greaver was a 1979 graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School and a United States Navy Veteran. He was employed as a Technician with Verizon. “Python” was a member of the U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club for over 10 years and served as the current president of his chapter where he received his nick name.
