Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Dumire will be taken to McCoy Blossom Funeral, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379, where visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018. Funeral service at 1p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy location. Rev. Darryl Alley to officiate. Interment will be held in the Troy City Cemetery in Lincoln, MO.

Phillip Lynn “Phil” Dumire, 80, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born in Parsons, WV, on December 29, 1937, a son of the late Geraldine Spurling Dumire.
His wife of 50 years, Barbara Jo Minnear Dumire, preceded him in death on July 30, 2010.
Mr. Dumire is survived by two sons, Phillip Dumire, Jr. and Bryon Dumire, both of Clarksburg; three daughters, Karla Adams and husband Richard of Winfield, MO, Gerry Clark and husband Roy of Enterprise and Melissa Wilfong of Troy, MO; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Phil served our country for four years as a member of the 101st Airborne in the U.S. Army and was a Merchant Marine. While serving in the Merchant Marine’s he was able to travel the world. He retired from Beth Energy with 30 years of service as a Coal Miner.
He attended Horizon’s Church and Wyatt Union Fellowship. He was a member of the VFW Post 573 in Clarksburg and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
