Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 12:00 to 6:00 pm, where services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Charles Madaus and Youth Minister Zach Kelley presiding. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Rex Allen Bailey, 20, of Stonewood, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019. He was born in Stonewood, on June 24, 1998, a son of Ray Allen Bailey and his companion Holly Martin who survive in Clarksburg, and Stella Marie McCallum Bailey and her companion Brian Trotter who survive in Stonewood.

 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Samantha Kay “Sam” Bailey of Stonewood, and Hannah Marie Bailey of Stonewood; one step-sister, Morgan Trotter of Clarksburg; two step brothers, Patrick Martin and Andrew “Drew” Martin, both of Clarksburg; his paternal grandfather, Rex Bailey and his wife Becky of Clarksburg; his maternal grandmother, Karen Haught and her husband Thomas of Stonewood; his paternal great grandmother, Francis Moats of Bridgeport; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

 

He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Connie Bailey; and his maternal grandfather, Rick Arbogast.
Rex was a 2015 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School and was employed by Speedway Appliances as a delivery person. Rex was very hard working, very caring and loyal, and will always be thought of as a hero to his sister. His pride and joy was his 1988 Ford F-150 truck.
