I worked with Bob back at Union Carbide, from the late 70's to the early 80's.. He was one of the good ones. Nice guy to work with.

Aunt Ang, Tammi and family... I am so sorry about Uncle Bob. I have the fondest of memories of him in my childhood every time we visited you. My earliest memory, when Dad was in Vietnam and we lived next door to you in Gypsy, was of him happy to be home after working hard all day. Later, in the summer of '76, I remember his bountiful garden. One afternoon, Tammi, he gave us a basketful of freshly-picked peas to shuck for him. You and I sat on the front porch, shucking away, and enthusiastically eating more than half of the entire harvest. I was afraid he would be mad at us, but instead, he accepted our meager work with good humor. (That was the day I learned to love fresh vegetables!) My thoughts are with you all at this sad time, and may Uncle Bob be at peace.

Angie and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my prayers. If Brenda were here she would do the same.

What can I say? You were our neighbor but more than that, you were like family. I so enjoyed our talks, your guidance, but mostly your love. You made me laugh until I cried more than once. We shared beers on the porch. You made me better in many ways. I have so many great memories of our time standing on Ridgeway Dr. talking about the $50k a year millionaires driving their high end cars they cant afford, and you saying "330" posse as you put your nose in the air. Haha. You could always make me laugh. Me and the boys have every tool you gave us. Angie still talks about the wardrobe she got from you and painted. I wish I had more time with you. You told me once before we moved to not be scared to take a chance. You always believed in me. My Angie talked to your Angie today. She is doing ok under the circumstances. Vikki, Jay, Shawna, Jeff, and Angie are all looking out for her. She is a wonderful woman. I pray that I can make my Angie feel as special as you did yours. You guys are such an example of what marriage should be. You guys loved each other so much. Its so perfect and inspiring. Thanks for being one of the best men i have ever know. Im trying to suck it up and not be sad, because i know you would bust my chops for crying, but I will miss you my friend. Angie, the kids and I love you. I will see you again one day my friend

Bob you will be GREATLY missed and it most definately will not be the same in our neighborhood without you. Jeff misses those weekend conversations with you when he's working on the property. I always knew where Jeff was if I looked outside and couldn't find him....he was at the top of Ridgeway talking with you. You two never seemed to run out of things to say. He looked up to you like a father and loved it when you would ask him to help with something. As for me I will miss that wave and smile when I looked up the hill and saw you and Jeff. I enjoyed how you would look over my shoulder to make sure I was playing all my numbers in Rummq with Angie; the bowl of icecream I would get (even when I said no); your making sure I always had that yummy Lipton Tea (even if it meant you "sneaking" off to the store to get it) and hearing you say "Oh Ang" when Angie would make a funny comment. Most of all Jeff & I are grateful and blessed to have met you. You and Angie, are a true story book romance couple. We enjoyed dinners; many a laugh and lots of talking at your house sometimes well after 11pm. We miss you so much and we are better people for having known you. To the man who's heart and personality was bigger than life itself, who's smile and kindness was genuine and honesty was of great importance....we love you and we will look out for your beautiful Angie and we know you will be watching over her from above. Angie, you are my dearest friend and I love you. xoxo Shawna

My heart aches for you all. I will always remember our years at the lake, all the cookouts up there and the laughter. The stories he, Paul and Sam told will go down in history-dating back to the old glass plant days! Please give me a shout when you have time. I\'d love to see you! RIP. Bob Watson.
