Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Monday, May 13, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 1:00 p.m.   Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Robert Brooks Thomas, age 66, of Bridgeport, WV, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2019, in Morgantown, WV.

 

He was born in Clarksburg, WV, on March 15, 1953, the son of the late Patrick B. and Betty Williams Thomas.

 

Robert was married on April 6, 1981, to Catherine Davis Thomas, who resides at their home in Bridgeport.

 

Also surviving are two sons, Ryan Brooks Thomas and his wife Jessica of Inwood, WV, and Logan Ryan Thomas and his wife Katelynn of Bridgeport; four grandchildren, Skyler Thomas, Quenton Thomas, Ridley Thomas, Lucas Brooks, and one on the way.  He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Stout of Salem, and Delaney, his golden doodle.

 

Robert was a graduate of Salem High School and graduated from Salem College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  He was a supervisor of environmental health for Harrison-Clarksburg Health Department with 36 years of service.

 

He was a member of the Church of our Savior and Horizons Church.

 

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Monday, May 13, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Steve Hinerman presiding.

 

Interment will follow in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
