Obituaries

Rose Thomas Signorelli, 93, of Clarksburg passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at her residence.

She was born in Fall Run just outside of Quiet Dell on June 22, 1925, a daughter of the late Thomas K. and Zher George Thomas.

She was married to Anthony Signorelli, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Chris Signorelli and his wife Chrissy of Bridgeport; one daughter, Tina Ware and her husband Mark of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Mark Ware, Ashley Frazier, Geri Signorelli and Cheri Signorelli; three great grandchildren, Abigail Ware, Aubree Ware and Ethan Frazier; one sister, Helen Saoud of Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by seven siblings, Mary E. Simon, Paul Thomas, Kay Thomas, Rosheda Simon, Barbara Thomas, Richard Thomas, John Thomas and Louis Thomas.

Mrs. Signorelli was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She volunteered her time at the Mustard Seed for 30 years. Rose loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and cherished her Sunday gatherings.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday, May 26, 2019 from 1:00 to 8:00 pm, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm to conclude the visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Casey Mahone as Celebrant.
Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
