Sharon Marie Sparks, 59, of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at her residence.
She was born in Waynesburg, PA, on December 4, 1964, a daughter of the late James and Mary Jane Purtell Bradley.
Sharon was married on March 23, 2011, to Richard Allen Sparks, who preceded her in death on February 19, 2020.
Mrs. Sparks is survived by four daughters, Gloria Beard and her husband Terence of Lorain, OH, Linda Delaney of Clarksburg, Tonja Morrison and her husband Ryan of Salem, and Diana Robinson of Clarksburg; as well as eight grandchildren, Terence Beard Jr., Nevaeh Frame, Nayome Robinson, Myah Morrison, Ayla Morrison, Justin Marks Jr., Braden Robinson and Rainelle Robinson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Matthew Robinson, her brothers and sister, James “Jimmy” Bradley, Kenneth “Kenny” Bradley and Susie Bradley.
Sharon attended West Green High School receiving her diploma in Waynesburg, PA. She was a graduate of WV Junior College where she received her degree in Business Administration. She spent the majority of her career as the Administrative Assistant for the City of Bridgeport in the Public Works Department.
Sharon loved and collected cow figurines which she admired. She was a coffee lover and enjoyed painting and shopping. Above all, she was a very special mother and grandmother who was loved by many.
