Shawn Thomas Ireland, 57 of Nutter Fort, WV, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at his residence.

He was born in Clarksburg, WV on January 14, 1967, the son of George Ireland and the late Betty Ireland.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa, who resides at their home in Nutter Fort, his children; Ashleigh, Tiara, Dakota, Audrey and Cambria, grandchildren; Eli, Abby, Ashlynn, Chloe, Colton, Braiden, Hannah, Caleb, Rose and Anastasia “A.J.”, siblings; Patty Reese and Kelley Ireland; step-children, Durke and Maranda; nieces and nephew; Merandia, Treslyn and Allen and two brothers-in-law; Chad and Jeff.

He was also preceded in death by children, Jessica and Ricky, grandchild, Aerianna and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

He was a graduate of Fairmont State University and an engineer with Aurora Flight Sciences. He liked to build and work on cars and enjoyed camping. His favorite times were those spent with his grandchildren and family.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St., Nutter Fort, WV on Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with Randy Taylor presiding. Interment will follow in the Taylor Family Cemetery, Marion County, West Virginia.
