Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the WV National Cemetery where full military graveside rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Amos Carvelli Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expense.

Stanley Ralph Wallace, 79, of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Lorain, OH on March 18, 1943, a son of the late Andrew J. Wallace and Mary Alta Phillips.

Surviving are three children, Dennis Wallace and his wife Toma of Clarksburg, Cherri Hardy and her husband Dennis of SC and Chris Lyons and his wife Stacy of OH; 12 grandchildren, Cody Hardy and her companion Mike, Bryce Fox, Braylon Hardy, Kenneth Fox and his companion Hunter, Lucas Wallace, Dakota Wallace, Nevada Wallace, Montana Wallace, Andrew Lyons, Jesse Lyons, Richard Lyons and Taylor Lyons; five great grandchildren, Robert Beasi, Baya, Liam and Penelope Green and Jackson Skinner; and one brother, Lenvile Wallace.

He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, RaeAnne Hardy; and siblings, Edward, Paul, James, Jesse, David, Charles and Fremon Wallace, Dortha Hovenetz, Grace Jenkins, Edith Vayda and Shirley Wallace-Miller.

Mr. Wallace attended Wellington High School in Ohio and was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was self-employed and the owner of S & D Aluminum Siding for over 50 years. He was an active participant in ARID Fellowship, where he was Secretary and Treasurer and acted as a sponsor for AA. Mr. Wallace enjoyed coin collecting and watching classic westerns and wrestling.
