Susan Lynne Sutter, 72, of Clarksburg passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at her residence.
She was born in Clarksburg on August 3, 1947, a daughter of the late Wilbert and Lois Paxton DuFour.
She is survived by her husband, David W. Sutter, whom she married on December 17, 1970’ one daughter, Deirdre Demana and her husband Brian of Nashville, TN; one grandson, Vincent Demana; one brother, Raymond DeFour of Clarksburg; and two sisters, Elisa Rowe-Dye-Mahoney of Clarksburg and her companion Alva Ford, and Joyce Chada and her husband Gene of Cleveland, OH.
Mrs. Sutter taught at Notre Dame High School and was a Registered Nurse at Clarksburg Continuous Care Center. She retired from United Technical Center where she taught Nursing Assistance.
In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Sutter will be cremated.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Harrison County 2450 Saltwell Road, Shinnston, WV 26431.
