Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Monday, September 30 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. where a Vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. to conclude the visitation. The Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Casey Mahone presiding. Interment will be in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.

Terry B. Shreves, 69, of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the United Hospital Center.

 

Mr. Shreves was born on September 30, 1949, a son of the late Lester Leon and Elsie Greathouse Shreves.

 

Terry is survived by his wife, Toni Roush Shreves whom still resides in their home in Clarksburg. They married on October 19, 1985.

 

In addition to his wife he is survived by his four children; Terry B. Shreves II and wife Charly of Weston, Rachel Duffelmeyer and husband Bill of West Union, Jessica L. Shreves of Clarksburg and Zachary K. Shreves and wife Meagan of Clarksburg; five grandchildren; Gage Knight, Brody and Brent Shreves, Cecilia Buffey and Annaliese Duffelmeyer; brother Barry Shreves and wife Anna of Nutter Fort; and sister-in-law Kim Carbacio and husband Kevin of Bridgeport.

 

Terry was a graduate of Rooselvelt-Wilson High School Class of 1967 where he served for many years on the reunion committee. He attended Fairmont State College where he received his degree in Business Administration and went on to become the owner of Shreves Insurance Services. He was a certified Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant. He was a member of RW-WI-Kelly Miller Alumni Association and Sig-Tau Alumni Fraternity where he served as Treasurer and loved attending the annual picnics at Camp Muffley. Mr. Shreves was Catholic by faith and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
