Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Thursday, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a Prayer Vigil at 7:30 p.m. to conclude the visitation     A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church, 2107 Pride Avenue, Clarksburg, on Friday, November 16, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Akila Rodrigo as celebrant.     Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

William “Bill” Alexander Crites, 70, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at his residence.

 

He was born on March 31, 1948, in Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Angeline Marie Zannino and Hubert Morgan Crites.

 

He is survived by his brother and sisters; Rebecca Crites of Clarksburg, Rocky Crites of Clarksburg, Sarah Wurstle and her husband Doug of Eustis, FL, Reta Gaston and her husband Bill of Clarksburg. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Adam Wurstle and wife Suzanne, Korwren Peterson and husband James, Autumn Schilleman and her husband Jordan, Matthew Wurstle, and Courtney Swiger and her husband Steven. He is also survived by his great-nieces and nephews; Eli Peterson, Sydney Peterson, Micah Peterson, , Aubrey Wurstle, and Ismae Schilleman. He also leaves behind his best friend Julian “Juke” Wash.

 

Bill worked most of his life as a handyman and also at the Produce House. He was an avid gun collector and trader, enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger years, and attended many car shows.

 

He was Catholic by faith.
