Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, where a prayer vigil will be held at 6:30 pm to conclude the visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 10:00 am with Father Kumar Reddimasu and Deacon John Yaquinta as concelebrants. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

William Eugene “Bill” Cutright, 73, of Clarksburg passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in the United Hospital Center.
He was born in Buckhannon on December 18, 1950, a son of the late Gerald and Nina Cutright.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Marie Messe Cutright, whom he married on October 10, 1970.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by one daughter, Michele Nicole Lion and her husband Russel Lion, III of Knoxville, TN; four grandchildren, Derek James Lion, Gabrielle “Gabby” Kyle-Lion, Dylan R. Lion and Christian William Kyle; and three brothers, Mike Cutright of Buckhannon, Robert Cutright of Myrtle Beach and Steve Cutright of Fairmont.
He was also preceded in death by his special grandparents who helped raise him, William and Kathleen Cutright, as well as his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Theresa Messe.
Bill was a 1968 graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School where he played football, having been selected for All-State for three years. He was formerly employed at Anchor Hocking Glass Company for over 20 years as a mold maker. Bill then became a certified financial planner with Met Life and worked into the position of Regional Manager prior to retiring. In later years, Bill owned Windshield Repair and an ATM business.
Bill was an avid golfer, having developed many long-standing relationships at Sunny Croft and Clarksburg Country Clubs. At one time, Bill was a scratch golfer. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
Above all, he loved his family and adored his grandchildren.
