Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

William Morgan Echard, 57, of Bridgeport passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the United Hospital Center following an extended illness.
He was born in Clarksburg, WV on August 1, 1961 a son of the late Orville Echard and Loretta Barnhart Echard.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Moore Echard, whom he married on April 16, 1988 and resides at their home in Bridgeport.
Also surviving are five sons, William Echard, Jr. of Randolph County, WV, Kevin Echard of Clarksburg, WV, Eric Echard of Bridgeport, WV, Aaron Echard and wife Stepha of Buffalo, NY and Ryan Echard of Morgantown, WV; one daughter, Ashley Lenik and husband Wes of Brownsville, PA; six grand children; Aaden, Adison, Audrey, Liam, Ashton, and Ellie; four brothers, Orville Echard, Jr. and wife Natalla of New York, Roy Echard of Clarksburg, WV, Pat Echard and wife Kim of Bridgeport, WV and Bob Echard of Bridgeprot, WV; one sister, Vicki Bland and husband Mike of Lost Creek, WV and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding him in death was one daughter, Lori Echard and one sister Carolyn Gibson.
He was a former glass worker for WV Glass and Anchor Hocking and worked at Hills Department Store. He was owner and operator of Sandy Dandy’s Restaurant in Quiet Dell and Nutter Fort which closed in 2007 and operated the concession stand at Watters Smith State Park. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren especially his granddaughter and loved spending time during the summer in their swimming pool. He also loved watching his sons play high school and college football.
