Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:00 am with Reverend Fred Aves officiating. Interment will be in the WV National Cemetery.

Wilma Jean Carnes McInnes, 85, of Fairmont, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in Columbia City, Indiana. She was born in Benwood, WV on August 8, 1932, a daughter of the late Sidney Edward and Lula Amos Carnes.

 

She was married to David McInnes who preceded her in death.

 

Surviving are two children, Rodney Campbell and his wife Barbara of West Warwick, RI, and Sidney McInnes and his wife Rhonda of Dawmont, WV; two grandchildren, Jesse and David McInnes; five brothers and sisters, James Carnes and his wife Mary of Shinnston, Richard Carnes and his wife Patty of Clarksburg; Donna Wells and her husband Daniel of Fairmont, and Sue Wagner of Columbia City, IN; seven half-brothers, Edward Carnes and his wife Mary of Akron, OH, Paul Carnes and his wife Ann of Kearneysville, WV, Homer Carnes and his wife Rose of Mannington, Charles Carnes of Mannington, Donald Carnes and his wife Vickey of Mannington, Tim Carnes and his wife Carolyn of Mannington; and two half-sisters, Gloria Eddy of Hundred, and Patty Hostutler and her husband Bob of Mannington.

 

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Bernard Carnes; one sister, Phyllis Bristo; and one infant half- sister, Judy Ann Carnes.

 

Mrs. McInnes was Protestant by faith.
