Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Monday, October 14, 2019 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. where a Vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. to conclude the visitation. Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be accorded at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8092 Third Street, Stonewood, on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Kent During and Father John Ledford presiding. Interment will follow in the Bridgeport Cemetery.

David Joseph Anderson, 43, of Nutter Fort, passed away on October 11, 2019 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
David was born on April 9, 1976, a son of David J. “Dave” Anderson and Mary Constance “Connie” Bower Anderson whom reside in Nutter Fort.
He is survived by his sister Jacqueline “Jackie” Moore; two special nieces; Riley and Alaina Moore, as well as two uncles and one aunt.
David was a graduate of Notre Dame High School Class of 1995 where he played basketball and baseball. He received his bachelor’s in business management from Marshall University. While in Huntington he worked for the Herald Dispatch. After returning home he became an insurance agent for Insure America. He loved to hunt and fish. He was Catholic by faith and a member at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
He battled Gardner’s Syndrome, a subtype of Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP), for two decades. He accepted his illness and never complained. David always remained positive.
