James Lawrence “Jimmy” Vest, age 50, of Stonewood, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020.
He was born August 1, 1969 in Clarksburg. He is survived by his mother Bernadine Vanscoy Vest of Clarksburg, having been preceded in death by his step father, Kenneth Vest Sr., and his biological father Jack Walls; and a sister Jackie Vest.
Also surviving are two children, Carolyn Ullum of Moundsville, WV and James Dyer of Ohio. Two brothers, Keith Vest and his wife Crystal of Clarksburg, and Kenneth Vest of Weston; a step sister Valerie Walls of Clarksburg, along with several nieces and nephews. Jimmy has two cousins whom he thought of as brothers, James and Daniel Ayers of Stonewood.
