Patricia Sue “Patty” Davisson, age 72, of Bridgeport, WV, passed away at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017, at her residence following an extended illness.  Her loving daughter Michelle was by her side.

 

She was born on March 19, 1945, in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Carl Howard and Cora Alice Siers Bailey.

 

Surviving are one daughter, Michele Lynn Lehosit and her husband Emil of Bridgeport, WV, Auburn Woods Community; grandsons, Kyle Lehosit and his wife Haley of Nutter Fort, WV, Logan Lehosit and companion Lacy of Fairmont, WV; granddaughter, Megan and companion, Craig of Bridgeport, WV; four sisters, Ethel Shingleton and husband Bill of Martinsburg, WV, Shirley Cunningham and husband Victor of Sun Valley, WV, Dorothy Nutter of Clarksburg, WV and Betty Freeland and husband Larry of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one sister-in-law, Susan Zirkle Bailey of Nutter Fort, WV; one brother-in-law, Slade Ballou of Merritt Island, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Patty was preceded in death by sisters, Etta Faye Locke and Reta Irene Ballou; brother, Carl Ernest “Ernie” Bailey; brothers-in-law, Leland Locke and Harold Nutter.

 

Patty enjoyed taking long walks with her beloved dog, Mandy, who preceded her in death, and helped care for her “grand dog” Jesse.  She was an avid reader and liked working puzzles, line dancing, and working with her flowers.  Her hobby was sewing.

 

Patty graduated from Victory High School class of 1963, and was Protestant by faith.  She was employed by Parson Souders, J.C. Penney and retired from Dominion with 25 years of service.  After retiring she cleaned the dining room of the Parkette Restaurant on Mondays.

 

The family would like to thank Hospice for coming in.
