The precious memories of the few times I spent with Aunt Reatha will brighten my days. She was such a joy with a ready smile and a sparkle in her eye. Her hospitality, good spirits and genuine empathy made her a true lady. I can imagine the wonderful reunion in heaven with Uncle Owen, her brothers and their parents. The love she gave to all will carry on in all of her children and their children.

I will miss you Aunt Reatha.. you was such a beautiful person, inside and out. I\'ll always remember how you loved the tomatoes that dad brought you every reunion. Dad is having a hard time with your passing. Him and mom (Paul and Norita), loved you so.. rest in peace my sweet angel.

I was fortunate to marry into this wonderful family a little over ten years ago. I had already gone through the loss of my father and mother, and mom Richards was a joy for me. There was always a twinkle in her eyes and a smile on her lips. Her favorite thing to do with us was to go out to eat fish. She would say after eating every bite " I am so full ". I would say too bad there is no room for a little McDonalds sundae for dessert. That twinkle in her eye and smile always came before her saying " I think I can find room for that!". I will miss her and her wonderful since of humor, her grace, her abiding faith in family and God.
