Dave, So sorry for your loss. I remember when our moms terrorized the sporting events we played in...they were the ISIS from North View. Your mom was loved by many. To you, Johnny, Rose, Becky and Sam, our deepest sympathy to you all.

Over the years I always enjoyed the conversations with Aunt Mary Zut's. Prayers are with you all during these difficult times.

My Aunt Mary, how I loved her ! She was the best, she was fun and caring. Christmas's were very special and I remember believing Santa dropped all the gifts at her house because between the huge Christmas tree and the gifts you could hardly get thru the door! Her quick wit and never backing down from anyone or challenge is what I will cherish her in my heart always. Love to Sammy , John, David, Becky and Rosemary. from the Fox cousins.

Sam, Johnny, David, Becky and Rosemary, I am devastated to hear about the passing of your mom! I just loved that woman. There was no one like her. She was tough as nails, a tireless worker and great baker. I got to talk to her when we were home in May and I\'m so glad for that. I have so many memories of her growing up beside you guys. I will never forget them or her. The kids and Mark were so shocked to hear as well. We send our condolences, prayers, and love to you and all of your families. You were her pride and joy. Rest in peace Mary Zut!

Becky & family, We were so sad to hear the news of your Mom passing....I know how devastated you must be. Although I didn\'t have the opportunity to personally know your Mom, I remember your tales about her and her sarcastic wit. You will miss her every day but cherish precious memories. God's blessings...

Rebecca, Salvatore, Lori, Christiane—I was deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Mary Elizabeth Predmore Veltri. As Christy recently wrote in remembrance: “…we would be sitting at her kitchen table, talking, getting lectured by her about whatever she wanted to harp on that day. Or playing a game of marbles with her and my uncles, cousins, mom, brother and the rest of my family. She was never one to complain about ailments. She was tough as nails both physically and in her attitude. Once on her shit list, it was nearly impossible to be removed. She trusted few, was extremely protective of her family and private. She was not the affectionate type but never denied us affection if we needed it. She always had sound advice and though often not what I wanted to hear, I knew she was right. One of my favorite pieces of advice she told me when I was just starting college, she said, ‘Learn to take care of yourself before taking care of someone else.’ This was in the context of marriage. She told me to finish school, get a job, be out on my own and then, consider a serious relationship. Make my own way first. Be a strong woman. Another of my favorites—‘Don’t take shit off no one, no how!’ She certainly never did.” Please accept my condolences and may my prayers help ease the pain of this keen loss of your mother, mother-in-law, and Nunnie, and hasten the journey of her soul to Heaven.
