Elonia Patricia “Loya” Fernandez Cistaro, 99, of Williams Avenue, Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 following an extended illness. She was born in Aviles, Spain on September 25, 1916 a daughter of the late Manuel and Sabina Rodriguez Fernandez.

She was married to Anthony C. “Cisco” Cistaro, who preceded her in death on January 15, 1978.

Surviving are one daughter, Trena Kirby and her husband Ron of Clarksburg; one daughter-in-law, Judy Cistaro of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Jason Webber and his wife Heather, Tracy Webber, James Cistaro, and Kirk Cistaro and his wife Theresa; 10 great grandchildren, Zach Curotz, Justin Webber, Sammy Webber, Cameron Webber, Jacob Webber, Piper Webber, Sara Cistaro, Cal Cistaro, and twins Anthony and Clare Cistaro; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was also preceded in death by one son, James Anthony Cistaro; four brothers, Joseph, Albert, Freeman and George Fernandez; and three sisters, Mary Star Mawyer, Nives “Nan” Gonzalez, and Josephine Fernandez.

Trena and family cannot put into words what a blessing it was to have her as a loving mother. She always put others before herself, and loved her birth family and her marriage family. She will be sadly missed by all.
