Cuz. My man. I miss you severely. One of my earliest memories is when you visited our house when you were in the Navy and looked so sharp in your uniform. You've inspired me in life and have been a great leader in our family. Thank you for stepping up and being the Pastor for my Mother's funeral. Thank you for always reaching out to me and staying in touch. I treasure our time together. Enjoy heaven and I look forward to seeing you again! Thank you, Cuz!

I was in he middle of boot camp when my nephew was born and didn't get to see him until he was 6 months old. We shared some fun times when he was growing up and our relationship was much closer than nephew and Uncle as time passed. I was honored to serve as his man when he married Jemi the love of his life. Jimmie was the Pastor for my wife Sherree's grave side service as we laid her to rest, he loved his Aunt Sherree. I already miss the way he just called me Unc and one day when the Lord calls me home what a reunion we will have. Love you Jimmie David.

Jim, Your photograph perfectly captures the Jim that I knew; a gentle smile with smiling eyes to match. We enjoyed good days, lots of laughter, and some mischievous pranks while sharing a work space “back in the day.” I’m proud of your love of and service to our Lord and Savior. You will certainly be missed. I send prayers and sincere condolences to Jemi, your family, and your flock. I’m happy to call you friend, Cynthia Cox Cleland

I was so saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was a great Christian man and I always enjoyed seeing him in church. He always had a smile to give. He was blessed with a great singing voice and now he's singing in the heavenly choir. Prayers for peace and comfort to Jemi and his family. May God be with you all.
