I want to express my sympathy to Libby and the family. Jim was not only a great superintendent, but he was also a great friend, and an example of a life well lived. I know that he will be missed. God bless.

We offer our deepest sympathy to Libby and all Mr. Bennett's Family. We remember Mr. Bennett as a very kind and generous man who was willing to take the time and expend the energy for even one person to do things fairly and as thoroughly as possible. He was certainly very kind to us and we've always appreciated him for that. Rest well Mr. Bennett.

Libby and Family, Please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of your dad. I was privileged to work as a teacher and administrator during Mr. Bennett' s tenure as the Superintendent of Upshur County Schools. His leadership was outstanding. He was a person of great integrity and his administrative guidance and wisdom instilled in us the passion to always put forth our best for the students of Upshur County. He had our respect and trust, as an educational leader and as a friend. May God Bless You and Your Family During These Difficult Days, Love, Millie McGee Beer
