To the Harris family, Please accept my sincere condolences. Mr. Harris was a man I held in great respect. His friendship with my uncle, Roy Bowesman, meant so much to our family, and my mother and I were always grateful for the support he showed him throughout the years. Though my time around Mr. Harris was limited, it was easy to see the deep love he had for his family. I often think about a story he told — about the glasses that had been washed in Clorox. He told Mrs. Harris they still tasted like Clorox, and as she broke each one, she asked him if it still tasted like Clorox. Every now and then that memory comes back to me, and it makes me laugh. Sixty?seven years of marriage… what a wonderful legacy. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. And to my dear friend Chrissy — I love you. I know you will miss your daddy just as I miss mine. I am praying for your strength during this difficult time, and I pray that this season draws your family closer to God and to one another. Peace & Blessings. Lynna

Dear Mrs. Geneva, Krissy & family, ✨I wish to extend to the family my sincerest condolences on the passing of Mr. Harris. I saw Krissy last Saturday in Morgantown at the WVU football game & she informed me about the passing of her father after I bought up the passing of Sonny Donaldson. I was unable to make it to his viewing as I would have liked or funeral due to my work schedule but I did want to let you know that my prayers & thoughts are w/ the family at this time. I will always remember Mr. Harris w/ the his big smile like in the picture used here. He was always cordial, respectful & busy helping somebody doing something & this is how I will always remember him. My warmest hugs to each of you as you recall all of your fondest memories & things he was known to say & do. These memories will do much to keep him close in your hearts day-to-day. May The Most High hold your beloved one close until you are each united one by one. ✨
