Burial Date August 4, 2023
Service will be private. Interment will be in the Bridgeport Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his loving wife. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1766 Milford Street, Clarksburg, WV 26301 or to the Harrison County Humane Society, 2450 Saltwell Road, Shinnston, WV 26431.

Uncle Dick. I will always remember our good times together attending auctions, visiting Hundred, and having lunch when I came for a visit. Love you. I will really miss you.

I met Uncle Dick when I was 3 and he was 19. He charmed me right away with his boyish smile, and I knew I was always in for a good story and a chuckle when I was with him. He was the last of his generation in our family and it brings me peace to know he has been reunited with Aunt Bobby, the love of his life. Rest in the arms of our Lord, Uncle Dick, until we are all together again. I will miss you.

Oh, Mr. Anderson, how I enjoyed our chats when I would come and visit my parents. You never failed to make me chuckle and I always looked for you out front if the weather was nice. Rest easy, now, for your work here on earth is complete. 💝
