Pattie, so sad to read about Steve’s passing. I want you to know how instrumental he was in saving lots of people from my stressful work by letting me vent on him. He was a great stress reliever and I will miss his phone calls as a foreigner wanting to make a food order. Life at CVS will never be the same without him. Please accept my condolences and prayers. Rebecca Puckett (CVS)

Pattie, so sad to hear about Steve’s passing. He did not realize how instrumental he was in saving lots of people from my wrath, because he let me vent on him. I will miss him calling under the guise of a foreigner wanting to make a food order. He really helped lower the stress at my job

Pat and family, we are deeply saddened to learn of Steve’s passing. We were business associates of Steve’s through Allstate (we worked in the home office of Allstate Life). When Steve came to Lincoln, Nebraska to visit Mike Elson a few years ago we were able to join them for a round of golf. We will always have fond memories of that day. May God bless you and your family and welcome Steve into his heavenly home. Sincerely, John and Linda Olsommer

Patty and family, I've not had contact with Steve since I lived there many years ago and that I regret but he was a good friend. He played golf with this other lefty, made me laugh and told great stories. I know he's a blessing to you in far greater ways but I am blessed to have known him during a small season in my life. I am sorry for your loss yet grateful to God to have known him. You are in our prayers. Blessings, Frank

Our hearts are heavy with the loss of our longtime friend. Steve was “Uncle Stever” to our boys all their lives. We’ve know Steve and “Aunt Patty” since they were first married. The memories we share will never be forgotten. Steve was a great guy! A dear friend with a wonderful sense of humor. He was pretty good on the links too. God’s speed, Stever. We love you??
