Robert L Barker age, 84, of Clarksburg West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

He was born February 2, 1940 in Wetzel County, Smithfield, West Virginia, son of the late Elmer Barker and Harriet L Swiger Barker.

He married his loving wife of 52 years, Grace Stout Barker, on December 12, 1971. She preceded him in death on January 7, 2024.

Surviving are cousins Kathy Purdue and Roger Purdue of Coshocton, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by sisters Garnet Edwards, Mary Ash, Kathleen Ice and Evelyn Quinn; and brothers Albert, Norman, Bernard, Jimmie and Thomas.

Robert was employed at jobs in West Virginia and Ohio. His last job of 25 years was with Kappa Sigma Pi and Presley Ridge Schools of Clarksburg, West Virginia.

Robert was an outdoor person. He loved hunting, gardening and landscaping. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens with special friend, Keith Bramel, officiating. Entombment will follow
