William Earl Powell, 78, of Anmoore passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 in the United Hospital Center.

He was born in Folsom on February 25, 1945, a son of the late Earl and Lula Belle Hayhurst Powell.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Sharon Wortsell Powell; his children, Missy Hoskinson and her husband Carl, Billy Powell, Susan Powell and her husband Jeff, Kevin Powell and his wife Amanda; grandchildren, Amanda Southern and husband Chad, Sam Fisher and wife Emily, Noah Hoskinson, Trysten Rohrbough, Caleb Yanego and Caleigh Powell; great grandchildren, Ava and Owen Fisher; and his sister, Patricia Powell of Ohio.

He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Francis “Jack” Powell, Bobby Powell, Roger Powell, Ed Powell, Tery Powell, and Barb Powell.

Mr. Powell retired from the Machine Shop at Union Carbide Corporation. He enjoyed playing cards and shooting pool. He loved sports and playing golf, softball and bowling.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Powell will be cremated.
